People say that the Great Minister of Fate is the most majestic of the gods. He governs the lives and deaths of mortals, never smiles, and is always accompanied by thunder and lightning wherever he goes. Yet when corpses covered the land and suffering ran rampant, this powerful god of the heavenly heights gave up a thousand years of cultivation to save the mortal world from disaster. No one ever knew that he was everywhere: in the freezing desert, the bustling capital, the desolate ruined city... He descended among mortals in the most compassionate way, without a sound. He understood their love, hate, anger, and infatuation, and accepted their greed and wicked thoughts. That was the God of Fate. But when the Heavenly Emperor assigned him a Lesser Minister of Fate, the Great Minister's once peaceful life was utterly disrupted. The years that had stretched on for millennia became noisy.
