The One I Can't See

A sixteen-year-old blind boy often appears near the school. He is handsome and delicate, but sadly, his beautiful eyes cannot see. Li Yaozhou has been blind since childhood. The first time he met Zhou Jin, he was walking along the sidewalk, while Zhou Jin and a group of people stood there, blocking the tactile paving. During the six months he lived in Yuncheng, Zhou Jin called him, "Little Blindie!" Li Yaozhou never got angry. The gentle way he called him "Classmate Zhou" stayed with Zhou Jin for many years. Later, Li Yaozhou went abroad to have his eyes treated, and they were apart for eight years. After returning home, he attended a friend's banquet, where a strange man cornered him in the restroom. The man's face was livid. He seemed to regard Li Yaozhou as an enemy. "Little Blindie, you really can see now?" Li Yaozhou smiled. "Classmate Zhou, so this is what you look like." The moment Zhou Jin saw his smile, he touched his own heart. The ashes of what had died eight years ago burst back into flame. Mutual pining! Both ways! Theme: Be kind to others, and never give up hope for life.
