The Sickly Master Picked the Wrong Disciple

The Heavenly Dao collapsed, and demons ran rampant.

Daoist Lord Lin Wan Feng used his own power to destroy the Demon King and suppress the demon race beneath Qianqiu Mountain, a mound made of countless bones. He himself was left gravely ill, his body riddled with chronic ailments and his true essence exhausted.

When the author Lin Wan Feng, who shared his name, transmigrated into the story, the System issued an order:

“Find the Child of the Heavenly Dao and take him as your disciple. Have him protect the mortal world in your place, and then you can retire in peace.”

Following the clues, Lin Wan Feng discovered two identical-looking boys.

The boy in white was clever and obedient. He always appeared during the day and took meticulous care of Lin Wan Feng.

The boy in black was unruly and cold. He only appeared at night and treated Lin Wan Feng with disdain, yet he could kill a ghost cultivator with a single sword strike.

Without hesitation, Lin Wan Feng chose the boy in white as his disciple and diligently trained him.

But on the day he completed his mission and prepared to fake his death, the boy in black suddenly appeared, ruining everything.

“Do you regret not choosing me back then?” The boy in black pinned him beneath him, breathing in his scent.

Lin Wan Feng stared at the words “Child of the Heavenly Dao” on the boy’s forehead and trembled. I chose the wrong person!

A sickly beauty of a master who can’t make the right choice VS a disciple with a split personality, the aggressive one
