On his first day in charge of the underworld, Liang Yin was already saddled with a problem: an immortal prisoner had escaped from the underworld's nineteenth level.
Liang Yin called all his brothers and charged over with weapons in hand, ready for a bloody battle. But the figure waiting there wasn't some dark, sinister monster. It was a gentle young gentleman with a smile on his face.
The legendary ghost prisoner, Zhu Ci, flashed the Yang-Returning Pestle in his hand and pressed it against Liang Yin's chest. "Are we fighting or not? Should I take you all on at once?"
Ox-Head and Horse-Face: "Seventh Lord, are we fighting or not?"
Liang Yin, ears red: "It's not right for a whole group to gang up on one person."
The brothers: Didn't you tell us all to come with you?
Imprisoned unjustly, Zhu Ci finally sees daylight and wants only to clear his name.
When the gong wants to fall in love, the shou only wants to investigate his wrongful conviction. When the shou wants to fall in love, the gong only wants to put on a show.
Zhu Ci bares his fangs, searching for the pulse in Liang Yin's neck.
Liang Yin lets him touch him without changing expression, though his neck turns red.
Zhu Ci relies on him to uncover the truth of the case.
Liang Yin looks down at him and thinks, He must be in love with me too.
From drawing closer to clinging to each other, broken bodies and all.

Liang Yin, dead serious: "We have to hold hands to perform this spell."
Zhu Ci smiles and offers his hand.
Liang Yin, solemnly: "I'm injured. I need to borrow your heart for a bit."
Zhu Ci sees right through him and offers his lips instead.
The underworld's residents reflect on their lives: "Did I not read enough books, or did I not understand them well enough? Is this really how you investigate a case?"
Liang Yin, Lord of the Blade Mountain: "Before I met him, I never imagined I could be such a considerate, attentive man."
[Notes and warnings]
This story contains many original worldbuilding elements. The first volume is mostly setup, while volumes two, three, and four all build on it. Most of the story is from the gong's perspective, and he's crazy about spoiling the shou.
Both leads have tragic pasts, but their romance is sweet. Age gap, with the gong younger.
The gong pursues the shou, and the shou pursues the gong. They heal and win each other over together. Neither side is favored; a relationship takes effort from both.
Theme: Love
I am ecstatic to find a new wife who can write. The overall performance of this article is relatively less straightforward, making it difficult to understand. A simpler explanation would increase readability, but it does not actually affect the exquisite design of the entire story. The writing is very good, the main plot is also interesting, and the echo of the two cases at the beginning and end is very impactful. I wish my wife's writing power will continue to make breakthroughs!!!! Throw flowers!!!
I've finished reading it, it's pretty good! I think the wife's words, sentences, and character are well written, but the plot always feels a bit unsmooth, very subtle, and inexplicably difficult to understand, especially in the early stages, but it's much better in the later stages.
