The Idle Concubine Gets a Harem-Wide Love Story

Q: What does it feel like to be a beloved consort, stunningly beautiful and adored by the emperor above all others? Su Zhaozhao: I just want to eat well, drink well, and wait to die. Once I finish the plot, I can go home. After all, the beloved consort in the book is a cannon-fodder supporting character. On the surface, she is the emperor's cherished darling, but in reality, she's just a shield meant to protect the woman he truly loves. And her death is utterly unoriginal. In the original story, the beloved consort and the emperor's white moonlight are both tied to the city wall. The rebel leader asks the emperor to choose between them. With a cool gaze, the emperor points to his beloved without hesitation, and the consort is shot dead with an arrow. Su Zhaozhao, who knows the plot, bursts into tears: Help me up! I can keep scraping by! She throws herself headlong down the path to an early grave, going out of her way to bully the woman the emperor loves, acting arrogant and domineering in hopes of making him hate her. But after waiting until the flowers have withered, she's still alive and well in the imperial palace. Even worse, she later discovers that the male lead loves her, and so do all the supporting male characters... She's the confidante of men all over the capital. It seems she's got herself a reverse-harem protagonist script. Even after giving birth to the crown prince and the emperor abolishing the entire imperial harem, she still hasn't died. Su Zhaozhao is stunned. "...What happened to me being a cannon-fodder consort? That's not what the script said." #Diligently acting every day, only to discover I've got the wrong script# #I was promised angst and heartbreak, but this is a sweet romance# #What do I do if the emperor won't let me die?# [Reading Guide] ① The male lead is a wolf in sheep's clothing. ② The heroine is the beloved consort in the book; this will be explained later. ③ The male and female leads are both virgins.
