The Canary's Sweet, Spoiled Days

[A Vermilion Bird who plays the pig to eat the tiger to survive x an arrogant Torch Dragon whose victory means world peace and whose defeat means nuclear annihilation] Jin Ran was the last Vermilion Bird in the world. His power was so absurdly great that it threatened world peace, so the Heavenly Dao struck him dead with a bolt of lightning. Later, he was reborn in the body of a canary. To evade the Heavenly Dao’s pursuit, Jin Ran sneaked into a boarding school for underage demons, hoping to hide his demonic aura. On his first day, he met Qiu Yu, the school’s student council president. Jin Ran had no idea what kind of demon Qiu Yu was. When he got angry, the earth shook. When he cursed, storms raged. And he could summon lightning at any time, anywhere! Jin Ran, who was determined to avoid getting struck by lightning, thought: I have to stay away from Qiu Yu! Then he discovered that every so often, his demonic power would erupt, and no one at the school could suppress his aura... except Qiu Yu. Student council president Qiu Yu was the strongest fighter at school. He was handsome and did well in class, but he had a tendency to get struck by lightning, so almost no one dared approach him. Everyone thought Qiu Yu would always be a heartthrob admired from afar, never someone they could get close to. Later, someone saw Qiu Yu raising a canary. After that, the president was never struck by lightning again. A lighthearted fantasy school story, not a serious novel! _(:з"∠)_ New story up for preorder in my profile: The Silly, Lazy Fish’s Way of Falling in Love. Please add it to your collection! Blurb: When Xin Xingchen woke up one morning, he had switched souls with his ex-boyfriend. His ex, Shen Zhou, was a workaholic with endless meetings, overtime, and business trips. Xin Xingchen, on the other hand, was fabulously wealthy. His father was a tycoon, and his older brother would inherit the family fortune, so he could happily coast through life as a lazy fish. They broke up because they couldn’t agree on their outlooks. After switching souls, Xin Xingchen was forced to go to work with Shen Zhou every day. Shen Zhou worked, while he lazed around. One time, he woke from a nap to find his ex-boyfriend, who had already broken up with him, eyes closed as he stole a kiss. Xin Xingchen: “...” Xin Xingchen didn’t understand, but he was deeply shocked. How could this guy bring himself to kiss his own face? So frightened was Xin Xingchen that he never dared nap in Shen Zhou’s office again. A month later, the two switched back. Xin Xingchen thought he was finally free, so he went home and slept. The next morning, a cute little kid knocked on his door. Staring at the child outside, who looked exactly like a miniature Shen Zhou, Xin Xingchen’s pupils trembled. He blurted out, “Holy crap! A love child?!” Shen Zhou, reverted to childhood: “...” He had thought the soul swap was just a disaster out of nowhere, but it turned out Heaven kept sending disasters his way! Every problem that a lazy fish would rather avoid landed in Xin Xingchen’s lap! A seemingly gentle but actually scheming gong who’s sometimes a wolfdog and sometimes a puppy x a universally adored shou who’s determined to be a lazy fish, has maxed-out trash-talking skills, and still wins by doing nothing A silly story written for practice, rekindled romance, illogical sweet indulgence~ Theme: Helping one another and growing together with companions in a new world!
