As a Concubine

After her family was convicted, she was carried in a small sedan chair into the home of a man feared throughout the court... The man held power over the entire court and had always been ascetic, yet he kept her alone, toying with her and tormenting her in his hands. Once a precious pearl, now she could only be a concubine. She tried desperately to escape, but was caught and brought back again and again. He treated her like a bird in a cage, imprisoning and humiliating her for his amusement. The man's eyes were gloomy and amused as he delighted in her pitiable, moth-to-a-flame struggle. "When you humiliated me back then, did you ever imagine this day would come?" #Angsty drama, coercive possession# Theme: Keep living through hardship
