All My Blind Dates Treat Me Like an NPC

As the sole heir to the Hojo family, a financial conglomerate capable of shaking the very foundations of Japan's economy, Hojo Sei can inherit his ancestors' estate on one condition: he must get married. Hojo Sei: Tch. It's the 21st century, and the inheritance rules are still such feudal relics. But he put up with it rather than hand his business empire over to someone else. However! Dating was out of the question. How could the future head of the Hojo family let dopamine decide who his wife would be? So he decided to go on arranged dates! All his dates were men? Hojo Sei: No problem, as long as I can get married. He only wanted to get married and inherit the family estate. Romance? Not interested. After he turned down several dates who tried to start a relationship with him, those men actually banded together to sabotage every prospective date who came after them, insisting that he choose one of their group. Expressionless Hojo Sei: This is a conspiracy. It absolutely is. After investigating thoroughly, he discovered that those men, whose backgrounds he couldn't uncover and whom he'd therefore rejected, never actually wanted to marry him. They thought his world was a game and saw him as the hardest-to-romance NPC in it. The hardest-to-romance Hojo Sei: Hmph. He immediately invested in research into a project for transmigrating through time and space. The various prospective dates from other worlds suddenly all sneezed in unison: “Achoo!” Saved the image and idea on December 23, 2020. Theme: Those who toy with people's feelings must be punished, even if they don't get away with it.
