My Target Started Winning Me Over

[Protagonist's POV] As soon as An Zixi entered the game, she knew her mission was to stop the villain from going dark and destroying the world. Apparently, the villain had already killed countless players who came to win her over, and was exceptionally ruthless. The System comforted her: "It's okay if you fail the mission. Your safety comes first." Hearing this only made An Zixi more eager to give it a try. An Zixi thought she'd be up against a murderous fiend with a hideous face. But the villain turned out to be unexpectedly beautiful, clever, and capable. Most importantly, she was easy to get along with. -She was nothing like the world-destroying villain in the rumors. The System screamed frantically: "Wake up! That's all an act!" An Zixi had her doubts, of course, but that person was simply dazzling. Warm and powerful, she drew An Zixi's gaze without her even realizing it. Later, An Zixi reflected: No wonder she's able to kill off all those players. I think I've been won over instead. The System had already fallen apart: "I brought you here to fix a bug. I didn't ask you to bring the big bad into the real world!" [Love Interest's POV] The moment An Zixi appeared, Cheng Qing knew why she was there. Just another smug, self-important fool, she thought. Cheng Qing couldn't be bothered to waste time with her, so she directly asked if she wanted to date. As long as she... She never expected to be rejected. After one cycle of reincarnation and hurt after another, Cheng Qing had long known she could never escape this vicious circle. It was like a program written into her, just waiting for someone to appear. But this was the first time she'd ever been rejected. Cheng Qing became intrigued. She wanted to see how long the other woman could hold out. Then she saw the light in her eyes grow brighter and brighter, until she even vowed to help Cheng Qing break free of her shackles. Cheng Qing laughed, until she really was standing on that sunlit land. -So this is what it feels like to spend your whole life waiting for one person. It's not so bad after all.
