[The Legend of Luo Xiaohei] A Wordless Third Watch

A Fu still remembered how bitterly cold that day had been. Heavy snow fell on the bare tree trunks, and the sky was so dark that not a glimmer of light could get through. That person sat on the largest boulder, its peak towering above the rest, and tilted their head slightly to blow a horn. It was not a particularly ornate horn. It had no dazzling gemstones or lavish golden trim. It was just a... very ordinary horn, ground from an unknown beast's horn. Plain and rough, just like the person holding it. Only where their hands gripped the horn, a subtle patina had formed. The horn's sound brought to mind the vast sky, the boundless earth, and the fiery red sun sinking beyond the horizon. That sound... was so desolate it made you want to cry. A Fu watched the person's back as they gazed into the distance for a long, long time. Perhaps that was the homeland she would never be able to return to. 1. Friendship-focused. Set before Lao Jun meets Qing Ning, when the turmoil of war is just beginning. 2.
