[Dream of the Red Chamber] Baoyu Is Not What He Used to Be

Little Baoyu doesn't want to become a monk, so he studies hard and trains diligently to serve at court. The young, fluffy official has smooth sailing, becoming a prefect, then a minister, and finally joining the Grand Secretariat. Along the way, he even "marries" the Crown Prince.

The little fluffy baby is so irresistible to cuddle. One thing leads to another, and soon he's being... nibbled... (gasp)

Empress: Wonderful! Our son isn't a eunuch!

Emperor: Wonderful! Our son isn't impotent!

Everyone: Wonderful! His Highness won't have to keep his desires bottled up!

The Rong family: Wonderful! We won't have to worry about being executed!

Crown Prince Shui Ting sneers:

Getting too close to the old ministers and their former followers: punished.

Drinking too much at social engagements: fined.

Lazing around and sleeping in: dragged out of bed.

Going home after court to see Daiyu: You smile at her once, and I'll make you cry twice.

Baoyu:

If my sovereign wants me dead, I'll simply refuse to die.

If my sovereign wants to dote on me, I'd be better off dead.

Jia Baoyu, you have to be strong. Don't trip over your own feet and die.
