The Protagonist's Harem All Regret Treating Me That Way

In his previous life, Shu Jian was a ruthless, brainless villain in a novel. Shu Jian was forced to follow the plot. He ruined his position as a prince, and the person he loved continued to hate him, even wishing he would die. But Shu Jian went against the plot, changing the fate of the people around him again and again, even at the cost of his own life. Yet even when Shu Jian died, everyone around him still thought he was evil and deserved to die. Protagonist: "I'd never fall for someone like you, not even if I died." Marshal: "As long as I'm here, you won't get anywhere near the protagonist." Prince: "You disgust me beyond words!" When Shu Jian opened his eyes again, he discovered he had been reborn and bound to a System. The System said that as long as he followed the plot obediently this time, he could leave the novel's timeline. Shu Jian agreed. Following the plot obediently wouldn't stop him from doing what he wanted, anyway. But why were all these scumbags sticking up for him one after another? His usually obedient servant pinned the righteous protagonist to the ground, grinning maliciously. "What did you just call my master?" Shu Jian: Holy crap, don't kill the righteous protagonist! The usually upright marshal took a bullet meant for Shu Jian and said, looking shaken, "I misunderstood you before. I never realized how kind you are. I won't let anyone else have you." Shu Jian, whose attempt to get himself killed had been thwarted, really wanted to die. The usually inscrutable emperor of another star system actually showed up to "clear his name." "Let Xiao Jian go, or I'll flatten your planet right now." The usually fastidiously clean Duke personally took care of him. "I may find anyone else disgusting, but never you." Shu Jian tugged at his pants. "Damn it, don't pull down my pants." When the harem group once again faced death, they discovered that the young man hadn't appeared to save them. Shu Jian held up the script. "Bullshit, that's what the author wrote. You're all supposed to die." Shu Jian anxiously flipped through the script. "Damn, where are we? Wait, is this part even in here?" "Why is it so hard to just follow the plot?" "Did everyone else get a different novel?" P.S. 1. I came up with the title randomly because I haven't decided on one yet. I'll change it later. 2. He's insanely charming and everyone dotes on him, so don't expect logic. 3. It goes in a semi-comedic direction. 4. The cover is ugly. Theme: Independence
