Would You Like to Pet My Little Tail? [Mermaid]

As a prince of the merfolk, Lu Cai leaves the sea and comes to the city. On his very first day, he nearly faints from hunger by the roadside, then gets chased and cornered by a crowd.

He sneaks into the trunk of a luxury car, and the unsuspecting owner drives him home.

His slender, supple body is bent to its limit. Lu Cai nervously raises his beautiful face.

He asks pitifully, "Could you please not catch me?"

And the handsome driver promptly captures him on the spot.

Xiao Yuanxu is the picture of an elite. A movie he acted in on a whim became a masterpiece, and a wealthy conglomerate is waiting for him to inherit it.

Everyone wants to get close to him, but no one can, until a beautiful young man comes into his life.

When those clear eyes gaze at him, Xiao Yuanxu hopes Lu Cai knows nothing at all, yet also wants to teach him everything, step by step.

In the throes of mating season, Lu Cai looks at him pitifully. "Would you like to touch my little tail? Just... just be gentle, okay?"

Then he learns what it means for people to be wicked. Xiao Yuanxu is anything but gentle.

A newcomer appears in the entertainment industry, with a voice kissed by God, a face so beautiful it seems unreal, and textbook-perfect face-slapping skills.

Lu Cai gives the camera a playful smile, and everyone's heart melts: My baby is so pure! / He's a little angel! / That white suit makes him look like the star of a wedding!

And out of sight of the cameras, Lu Cai licks his canine tooth, nestled helplessly in the man's arms.

Xiao Yuanxu gently lifts the young man's chin, his eyes full of possessiveness. "Now, I'm going to kiss my bride."

[Additional notes]

Gentle top who seems innocent but is actually calculating x sweet and beautiful bottom / older top, naive and charming

The bottom is soft, cute, and innocent, with a normal mind who will grow up just fine. The top seems gentle but is actually cold, though he treats the bottom as someone special.

A little angst for flavor, but mostly sweetness. In this fictional setting, same-sex marriage is legal.

The top owns an entertainment company, and the bottom becomes a singer. The career and entertainment-industry plot is relatively brief, in my opinion. This is a sweet romance-focused story.

Theme: Cherish rare species.
