[Arknights] Liberi Are Just That Amazing

Liberi are the Birdfolk.

So this story could also be called The Birdfolk Are Just That Amazing.

Synopsis:

Never thought I'd get to join the transmigration crowd one day... Ah, forget it. The old me was a legend. (Puff of smoke.)

After managing to sneak and hide my way from Columbia to Lungmen, I settled down and found that I might have picked an inconvenient time to apply for an identity card. They mistook me for an Infected and arrested me. I spent my time in custody nervously trying to stay alive. After going through all sorts of incidents and finally getting released, I found that every day I could see on the street the man who'd dragged me off to the station.

Lungmen is way too scary. Maybe I should move to Siesta instead. (Clutching my poor little heart.)

It wasn't until one day, when that man pinned me against a wall with a red face and confessed his feelings, that I learned he'd just been secretly watching me every day.

So I immediately beat him up and told him I'd be in charge of all his bank cards from then on. :-D

This is a one-on-one romance with a happy ending: a former scientist who values her life x a Lungmen guard who acts tough. The leads are both original characters, and the setting is Arknights. I guess this counts as fanfiction? The heroine is a Liberi, as the title suggests, and the hero is a native of Lungmen.

I'm an incurable new-story starter, so please add this to your favorites, hiahiahia!
