Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation: A History Lecture at Yuntian Academy

Also, a little memorial for the silly goofball Zha Qiu who got scared off by "Tiantian" back in the day. The timeline for the Yun Tian Academy history lecture is set in the original story, just after Wei Wuxian has taken a group of elderly people, women, and children to the Burial Mounds, but before he has publicly announced his defection from the Yunmeng Jiang Clan. The parallel-world timeline watching the lecture takes place a thousand years later. Everyone connected to the original story is gone, so I suppose this counts as an everyone-gets-a-BE ending, though direct descendants remain. Also, on the original-story side, I'll add a character who's more or less a half-original, half-canon creation. She's the protagonist of a Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation fanfic outline I've worked out so far, though I may never write it. She's especially good to Wei Wuxian and has protected him ever since the Burial Mounds. To keep the plot as unchanged as possible, she won't have much presence early on, but she'll definitely show up whenever Wei Wuxian gets into trouble. Because of the setting, she's also not in her right mind at first, but like Wei Wuxian, she's bold enough to flirt with heaven and earth. Both Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian each consider her their rival in love, one-sidedly. After all, she was his lover in a past life. That last sentence was a joke. In short, the ending will definitely be WangXian. Don't worry about the other details. She has her own CP, too; they're just rather unlucky.
