Until she came to a small town in Devon called Exeter, where she met the smart and considerate academic master Amelia, the crazy and spendthrift rich girl Fan Ni, the melancholy "Mr. Watch Repairman" Jason, and the weirdly behaved "Mr. Flashy" James.
Their destinies are intertwined like ripples on the lake. They each came with their own stories, and eventually they all ran towards their own future.

This is a modern group portrait of a small town in Devon, England. The first half of this story will be very depressing, but the ending must be HE, and it will be a Hopeful Ending (I hope my writing skills can still control it). The plot is the main line, and the emotions are the auxiliary line.
Purpose: This article can criticize: school violence, family education that treats children as "puppets", and materialistic outlook on life.
