Lively, brash heroine vs. upright gentleman hero vs. obsessive second male lead

Note: The heroine ends up with the second male lead, so consider yourselves warned~~

Also known as: "A Lively Brash Girl and an Obsessive Love, Happily Ever After"

An alternate-history setting based on a mythological system~ (Mostly the Underworld crew, one Erlang Shen, and a couple of land gods.)

After failing to capture one more ghost, the brash and domineering White Wraith Qi Guanshan was sent down to the mortal world.

With a heavy heart, Qi Guanshan gathered firewood in the mountains and resolved to take down the King of Hell and all the ghost officials as soon as she returned to the Underworld.

She had prepared herself to gather firewood in the mountains for the rest of her life, when suddenly a few soldiers tied her up and brought her to the escaped ghost.

As it turned out, the little ghost who'd escaped was a great general defending his country.

Rubbing her hands together, she was all ready to take him back to the Underworld, but then she was swept up in all the talk of national grudges and family vendettas, and let him go.

Qi Guanshan reflected: Clearly, I'm just a kind person. Burning the King of Hell's beard, tearing up the Judge's Book of Life and Death, stealing Old Black's hat, swiping money from her superior Xie Bian...

There was a reason for all of it. It was all their fault.

She's just a kind White Wraith!

In short:

The White Wraith was banished to the mortal world and became a peasant girl. Fortunately, fate hadn't abandoned her and delivered her right to the escaped ghost.

Moved by the ghost's devotion to his country and family, she chose to stay, willing to wait until he had finished serving his country before taking him back.

From then on, people said the great general had gained a beautiful confidante. Only he knew she was a mischievous, unruly ancestor...

The White Wraith was happily enjoying her life among mortals, never realizing that the escaped ghost she'd let go from the very beginning was part of a grand conspiracy...

P.S.:

1: Brief farming arc, brief domestic-intrigue arc. The story will move along quickly, probably only around 100,000 to 200,000 Chinese characters.

2: I really love the pretending-to-be-weak-while-hiding-your-strength trope, so I'm giving it a try~ If it's not well written, feel free to point it out, but please be gentle~

Theme: A carefree romance
