3. The protagonist's name is a transliteration of the Hebrew word for "friend of God": Yedidiah Lochen. For reference, see "Solomon Makes Wishes Come True" (PS: I got the inspiration from reading that story, so some of the settings will be similar). After searching and listening to it over and over, all I could hear at the end was "Loin." I'm crying with laughter.
