What Could a Cat Possibly Do Wrong?

When the apocalypse came, every plant, animal, and human underwent mutations. The socially anxious Chu Lin stayed inside his home and escaped unscathed. One day, Chu Lin went out to buy nutritional fluid and picked up an orange cat. He was delighted. Now he had a cat to look after. A few days later, on his way to apply for a residence permit, he ran into a black cat that pretended to be injured and insisted on following him home. Well, he might as well keep it. The next morning, when he opened the door, a beautiful ragdoll cat was sitting outside with a food bowl in its mouth. It was so sweet and adorable that Chu Lin's heart melted. He took it in without hesitation. Some time later, the National Office of Anomalies knocked on Chu Lin's door. "We've received a report that resident permit 0168635, Chu Lin, is keeping three high-risk anomalies at home: one Grade A, one Grade S, and one Grade SSS. Mr. Chu Lin, you have been classified as a Grade SSS high-risk anomaly. Please come with us!" Wait, he was just keeping cats. How had he become an anomaly? "Sir, I'm afraid you've misunderstood something," Chu Lin tried to explain. As soon as the words left his mouth, the beautiful ragdoll cat turned into a person, hooked an arm around Chu Lin's neck, and glanced sideways at the people outside. "Please don't disturb me and my darling while we're sleeping." The people from the Anomaly Bureau turned pale. "C-Commander?!"
