A Lucky Carp's Life in Showbiz

When Lord Lianzhen descended to the mortal realm to undergo a tribulation, Su Mo, a koi fish who was blowing bubbles in the Jade Pool for fun, merely happened to look up.

And then she, too, was sent down to the mortal realm. QAQ

Su Mo is a real koi fish. She can't make someone pregnant just by glaring at them (?), or make someone beautiful just by looking at them (?), but winning small prizes (?) and lending a little help (?) are the sort of things she can manage with just a bit of luck.

In a daze, she steps through the doors of the entertainment industry, and as a contestant, takes the stage.

"Contestant, what are your strengths?"

Just as Su Mo tries to break the ice by saying, "My legs are really long," she looks up and sees the person seated directly across from her in the center of the judges' panel: Ji Lian, the musical prodigy known as a "walking CD," who could get by on his looks but insists on relying on his talent...

"L-L-Lord Lianzhen???!!!"

Damn it! Why is this black-faced, black-hearted star lord who got her tossed into the mortal realm here too?

Su Mo is so startled she nearly falls off the stage.

Ji Lian curls his lips into a faint smile. "Contestant, were you trying to say your face is really long?"

Su Mo: "???"

My next story is coming soon. Please add it to your collection!
