It is the year 2697 on Planet X. People are no longer satisfied with a life of wealth and comfort. The rich and powerful have begun pursuing strong bodies and eternal youth. With the knowing support of wealthy businessmen, all kinds of near-deranged experiments are being carried out in secret. To achieve their goals, mad scientists have started splicing animal genes into human bodies. Unfortunately, the results include not only the animals' strength, but also their limbs, turning the test subjects into half-human, half-beast monsters.
Unwilling to endure the pain of the experiments any longer, the test subjects break out of their cages and rampage through the city. From then on, the prosperity of Planet X is reduced to scorched earth. The SIN virus, accidentally created during the experiments, causes people's bodies to rot and their minds to break down. To make amends for this mistake, the Hecate Project is launched to create warriors who can exterminate the half-beasts.
Of the fifty-three children raised as test subjects, only two girls survive as successful specimens. Then a sudden half-beast attack leaves test subject H-249 missing. The remaining girl, H-245, is taken to the Mengshan Research Base, becoming humanity's hope of escaping the half-beasts' claws. Fate, however, brings them together again in this post-apocalyptic world.
