An Alien Invasion, and Somehow I Became Their Queen

Good-for-nothing · Modern Knowledge Golden Finger · The Cherished One Among Beautiful, Strong, and Tragic Characters · Childhood Friend vs. Prodigies · Leveling-Up Dragon-Awesome Protagonist · Power-Hungry vs. Love-Struck, Split 50/50 · Childhood Friend Bad Ending Started writing in June 2023. Sorry, a lot has happened along the way, including making money and then losing a ton on investments in the real world. On top of that, some people I encountered left me feeling rather jaded, and everything I wrote was full of bitterness. With wars breaking out all over the real world, the original plot started to feel far too shallow, and I was very unhappy with what I had written, so I kept putting it aside and taking a break. I will slowly work on filling in the gaps. For now, I cannot promise regular updates. -- A bizarre meteor shower brought an invasion by the "other species." Humanity's population plunged by 70 percent, bringing the species to the brink of extinction. To fight the "other species," humans began to "evolve." One path of evolution divided people into rigidly ranked classes, while another led them to fall into darkness and become apostles. Born into this world, Rui Ying inherited the ordinary physique of her previous life. An E-rank good-for-nothing, she accidentally joined an all-A-rank team, nearly every member of which was beautiful, strong, and tragic. Rui Ying at first: My ideal life is to slack off and be a nobody. Rui Ying later: Somehow, I became their closest friend... Later still, they stood with their backs to one another for the sake of their respective ideals, each ruling in their own right. "We need a democratic republic!" "We need an authoritarian dictatorship!" -- Love and hate each other. There will be some romantic tension, but I won't make it too obvious... The female lead's physique will not grow stronger. Her golden finger is modern knowledge. The female lead is supposed to be fairly clever. If that doesn't come across, it's because the author's intelligence isn't up to the task. A bow. No need to let me know specially if you drop the story. A slow burn. The characters are imperfect, and there are more scenes of friendship. The male and female leads each have their own growth arcs. Take a look at my upcoming story: --Upcoming: "After Retiring from the Quick Transmigration Worlds, I Got Shaken Down"-- You Fei finally returned from the quick transmigration worlds. With millions in assets given to her by the System, she decided to retire in style. The System was a dark-moonlight System. It made You Fei force herself on A, abuse B physically and emotionally, speak cruelly to C, and torment D in every way... You know, she's an honest, kind person! The System forced her to do every bad thing! So after coming back, she was scared out of her wits. She only wanted to pretend not to know them and live in seclusion somewhere. But before long, they came looking for her. In the real world, they were all exceptional people. They seemed to have something seriously wrong with them: one after another, they developed Stockholm syndrome and chased after her, demanding that she take responsibility. Theme: Stay resilient and live on, even in adversity
