The God of Matchmaking, Master of Romance

Coming next: “Transmigrated into the Male Lead Who Pretends to Be a Woman” Please add it to your reading list~

My name is Qiao Qiao. I've been in the Heian period for sixteen years.

Before I was forced to marry, I received a mysterious letter saying that my grandfather had retired and that I needed to go to Heian-kyo to inherit his shrine and become its 178th land god.

I went gladly, inheriting the crumbling, rotten shrine and the two one-eyed little monsters inside who claimed to be my shikigami.

But my grandfather's letter didn't mention that he had long ago signed a contract with an onmyoji, becoming that person's shikigami despite being a land god himself. So, while I was sitting cross-legged on the heated floor, writing fanfiction, a flash of blue light transported me to a house even more dilapidated than my shrine. With a pen in one hand and a book in the other, I stared in silence at a boy dressed in black for a long moment before asking:

“Um... are you my Master?”

Qiao Qiao, a chronically single fanfiction writer who loves pairing up unlikely characters, transmigrates to Heian-kyo and becomes the land god of the Mifune Shrine, responsible for matchmaking.

So, the red strings of fate get all tangled up.

Qiao Qiao: Anyway, every ship I write has to get married!

An episodic series of heartwarming little stories set in the Heian period, featuring an energetic girl and a certain ageless, immortal jerk of a boss who only wants to find the blue spider lily. Inspired by Baku Yumemakura's Onmyoji novels and Murasaki Shikibu's The Tale of Genji. The author takes plenty of liberties, so don't take things too seriously.

A silly guy and a gloomy boy's daily bickering. One-on-one romance.

This novel will be published on November 19. Please support it, thank you =3=

Theme: Only love can warm the world.
