He Calls Himself Young Hero Bai Yu

Be sure to read the author's note in the final chapter!

It really is finished!

You haven't picked the wrong book!

Xie Qi bought a beautiful white fish.

It had horns on its forehead and a body like moonlight. At a glance, it was clearly no ordinary fish.

So Xie Qi planned to cook and eat it.

White Fish: I'll make you powerful enough to control the court!

Xie Qi scrubbed the wok and lit the fire.

White Fish: I'll make you richer than the whole country!

Xie Qi heated the water, ready to make fish soup.

The white fish cursed furiously: You want to die? Eat me and see!

Xie Qi sharpened a knife, ready to gut it.

The fish roared: I'll do your laundry and cooking! I'll clean and run your household!

Xie Qi: ...Fine, I suppose.

I wrote this story because I wanted to say that we can't spend our whole lives like greenhouse princesses, never getting hurt. Life will always leave cracks in us.

I hope you all meet a young hero like White Fish, someone who doesn't treat the hardships we've been through as ugly or burdensome.
