This is an early work where I let myself go completely. I really, really, really, really don't recommend buying it [it may hurt your eyes]. My completed novel, The Funeral Pyre of Fu's Pursuit of His Wife, is also available. Its quality and reception are both good, so you can read it with confidence.
Blurb:
Jiang Congyu transmigrated into a book and picked up a husband for next to nothing. With the script in hand, she knew her husband didn't have long to live.
So she fretted, since she wasn't good at math.
As the widow of Liancheng's richest man, how much of the inheritance would she get?
Jiang Congyu dreamed of her powerful husband kicking the bucket so she could divide up the family fortune.
But one day, her powerful husband held the woman with the wickedest heart in his arms. A hint of amusement played between his dashing brows as he said, "I'm in fine health. If you want the family fortune, you'll have to make me fall in love with you."
The Funeral Pyre of Fu's Pursuit of His Wife
Blurb:
1. The Fu family hosted a banquet, bringing together the famous and powerful of Jiangcheng. The children were all playing in the garden. Lin Enxiao lost a game and had to run up to Fu Xun, who was reading under a tree, and shout, "Brother Xun, when I grow up, I want to marry you."
The seventeen-year-old boy had striking features and wore a clean, icy-white shirt. He replied lazily, "Kid, go play somewhere else."
That night, Lin Enxiao dreamed that the handsome older boy beneath the tree had grown wings on his back and flown into the sky as an angel.
#From then on, Lin Enxiao saw only Fu Xun's angelic appearance, never recognizing the coldness of the devil within him.#
#Later, her secret crush came true thanks to their family backgrounds. She thought her wish had been fulfilled, never realizing this was only the beginning.#
2. After they married, no matter how cold Fu Xun was, Lin Enxiao relied on ten years of loving him from afar to hold up this marriage that felt like widowhood all by herself, until that day.
"President Fu is busy all the time. Doesn't your little wife complain?"
The man flicked ash from his cigarette. A wisp of smoke drifted past his cool-toned suit as he smiled faintly. "We each get what we need. All she wants is status. I need a woman."
Laughter and joking filled the study. Lin Enxiao cried, crumpled in a corner.
That very day, she wiped away her tears, took off the plain long skirt she'd worn to look mature and docile, let her hair fall straight and black, put on bright lipstick, and stepped in towering heels up to Fu Xun's desk. She slapped down an agreement. "President Fu, please sign here."
*
Seeing Fu Xun grow more and more haggard, a friend teased him, "Has your little wife still not had enough of making a fuss?"
Fu Xun's brow darkened. He tugged loose his tie. "Shut up."
Not long afterward, President Fu, who had once passed by his own home three times without going in and made the company his home, with his desk as his own flesh and blood, neglected the business of his financial empire just to keep track of the latest news about a certain popular female host.
Extra scene:
"As long as I'm gorgeous and badass, the next one will be more obedient."
"I can be."
"You can't."
Fu Xun slammed down his phone and went to catch her in person. "Be good, Xiaoxiao. Come home with me. Didn't you love me for ten years? How can your feelings change just like that?"
"I'm tired. I don't want to be good anymore. I want to find someone obedient."
Later, President Fu took off his black suit. In the bitter cold, he wore only a white shirt, just as he had at seventeen. He trapped Lin Enxiao beneath a tree, so close their breaths mingled, his gaze burning. "Call me Brother Xun again."
Theme: Life is hard. Cherish what you have as you go along.
Touching the tree, there is actually no need to explain so much, but I think the writing style behind it is a bit weird to read, hahaha
Is there a sequel? I feel like it shouldn't end like this, but I feel like it ends well like this. I'm so confused.
It won't be reincarnation again, unless one of the two dies. Otherwise, the ending will get worse and worse every time you come back, or you will have to die again and again to find out who is the real culprit behind the scenes. But will Xiaoyu's spirit collapse?
What are these two chapters about?
It's getting more and more exciting, great, great!
In the previous chapter, was it a dream that Cong Yu died, or was it reality? Ah, ah, I can't turn around.
Damn, I think this chapter is very thoughtful, but I can't understand it.

It's so sad. It won't end like this.
There's a reversal, right? Oh wow wow.
Hey, hey, do you want glass shards?
