In the future, humans and beasts are locked in war, and a love story suddenly unfolds.

In the future human society, excessive genetic modification, including the introduction of animal gene fragments, has made all humans reproductively incompatible. With no other choice, they resort to cloning to continue the human race. Meanwhile, a new species, the beastfolk, has emerged through mutation. Since they have no human form, human society has cast them aside. The strange thing is, the beastfolk can reproduce.
So human scientists begin researching the secret of beastfolk reproduction, using them as experimental subjects. At last, the beastfolk rise up in revolt.
Earth is plunged into a long war between warring factions.
That's the broad setting. The male and female leads are both just props, throwing themselves into the fray for the supporting characters' romances. (Not really.)
