I've been thinking about this story a lot lately, and want to give myself a satisfying ending. I'm revising the whole thing and building up a backlog, so I don't recommend following it yet. I'll post it all once it's finished.
Wei Cheng entered the entertainment industry as a child star at just nine years old. At fourteen, he resolutely went abroad to train. At eighteen, he debuted again as a member of the NH idol group. When the group disbanded at twenty-three, he chose to return to China. That same year, he switched to acting. At thirty-one, he won his first award recognizing his acting skills: Best Supporting Actor. On the day of his thirty-sixth birthday, when he was honored as Best Actor, Wei Cheng, the award-winning actor, got blackout drunk and then... transmigrated.
After more than thirty years of conscientious hard work, taking every step carefully toward his goal, Wei Cheng transmigrated overnight into Wei Cheng, a minor celebrity with more haters than fans.
This Wei Cheng has countless antis, and his team keeps pushing awkward trending topics and press releases. Worse still, he has a wealthy patron, and he's just offended them!?
Wei Cheng chooses to...
Climb back to the top and become Best Actor again.
Passerby: "He's definitely good-looking, but he's not cut out to be an idol!"
Later: "Okay, I'm sold."
Hater: "He buys trending topics every day and practically lives on Weibo. He's got no real talent. Disgusting!"
Later: "My face really hurts."
Patron: "Wei Cheng? Who's that?"
Later: "Mine!"
Fans: "A truly heavenly idol!"
A fictional entertainment industry, with no real-life basis or models. Please don't draw parallels. A sweet story focused on his career.
Top, talented award-winning actor Wei Cheng × bottom, CEO and wealthy patron Mo Qiyu
My writing is average and my skills limited. The outline is very rough. If you have suggestions, please be gentle. I'll keep writing the story as I go.
Theme: 1. Grow stronger and more capable, be unstoppable and never let yourself be defeated. 2. Respect and trust each other: the best kind of relationship.
