Slow-Travel Worlds Series: The Ming Dynasty Arc Synopsis for The Ming Dynasty: Breaking the Waves: After years of struggling, Mu Bai had finally reached the point where he could take on an upgrade mission. The moment he opened his eyes, he found himself in a hell-level challenge. Not only had he lost his memories, he also had to survive in the wilderness while injured and carrying a little child on his back. And to make matters worse, Yunnan was currently under the rule of a government called the Yuan. The local government was corrupt and brutal, while the Ming army across the river watched this place like a hawk. With a battle liable to break out at any moment, where could he possibly settle down? No matter. None of this would be harder than his mission. The “Hanfu” he was supposed to promote in this mission... what exactly was that? This question nearly killed the antique demon who had lived in the Spring and Autumn period! He was definitely filing a complaint when he got back! What? The people from Ming on the other side were wearing Hanfu? Well, then, obviously he should grab a weapon and help them! “Promoting Hanfu” was simple, really. All he had to do was make sure more people wore it. This was no challenge at all for a martial-minded person like him! Series synopsis: China possesses grand rites and ceremonies, and is therefore called Xia; It has beautiful garments and ornaments, and is therefore called Hua. The clothes of Huaxia embrace heaven and earth, The virtue of Huaxia clothes all under heaven. In the year of the Earth Pig, a sweeping campaign to promote and establish the rightful name of traditional Chinese ethnic clothing took place in Huaguo. To promote their country’s culture and secure more funding (crossed out), the Huaguo Bureau of Nonhuman Affairs issued a summons to task-takers everywhere, recruiting them to journey into history and help humanity gather footage for a documentary. But just as the management was arguing over which employee to send, devastating news arrived: Help! The cultural-promotion mission had been taken by that martial-arts maniac and killer! Mu Bai: Hm. In this 5S-level mission, there’s not a single worthy opponent. A feel-good historical power fantasy centered on Hanfu. The planned dynasties are the Ming, Qin and Han, Warring States, Western Han, and Sui and Tang. The order of the other arcs besides the Ming one is undecided. This arc is the Ming one! Although Hanfu is at the heart of the story, the focus is on the various circumstances surrounding its origins, rather than on the details of its styles and cuts. Premium chapters begin on December 29, with three chapters released that day. Content notes: The plot comes first, with romance on the side. There should be no pairing; if there is one, it will be BL. The protagonist is a martial-arts-loving, construction-minded troublemaker, not a respectable person. The golden finger serves the plot. Updates daily at noon. A light, relaxing read to enjoy with a meal, with a sweet tone. The author is a chatterbox, and the author’s notes are long. Occasionally, there may be tempting shopping recommendations. In the app, tap the three dots to hide the notes! Don’t leave a bad review just because the notes are too long, or I’ll send a cat to bite you. Theme: Every change and every design in Hanfu evolved and grew richer through changes in people’s hearts and the passage of history. It did not happen all at once. I hope to depict that process through the protagonist’s eyes.
