Bad ending! GL!
While studying abroad, Fang Jun receives a call telling her that someone has left her something in their will.
Someone has left her a ring, identical to the one on her hand. The envelope is blank.
The dead person isn't willing to say even a single word to the one still alive.
"Goodbye." Fang Jun places both rings in a black velvet box. The corners are worn, clearly from being touched over and over.
"Goodbye." Fang Jun drives, and time turns back seventy years. The sky is full of afterglow, and a hero falls.
Theme: A person's emotional struggles and choices. In the end, caught between wavering possibilities, some choose hope, while others give up.
