My other novel, The Royal Second-Generation Scion's Struggle, is now available. Please check it out. Its blurb is below.
*
Even as she died and became an immortal, Daiyu still remembered the little uncle from years ago, sometimes proper and dignified, sometimes roguish and irreverent, who had grinned and called her "little girl."
A little rambling:
Author: I'm terrible at writing blurbs. Give me a chance to catch your eye.
Little King of Hell: I caught their eyeballs for you.
Author: ...That's not what I meant!

My new novel next door is now available. Please add it to your library: male-lead romance + a woman disguised as a man.
The Royal Second-Generation Scion's Struggle
Final blurb:
According to official histories, Emperor Dezheng of the Wei Dynasty was generous and magnanimous. At home, he valued worthy officials and kept the people safe; abroad, he prized diplomacy and harmony with all nations. He was much like the ancient sage rulers.
He had only two stains on his record. First, he killed his brother and ministers to claim the throne, using ruthless methods. The famous official Wen Baisong of that time resisted his rule and smashed his head against the floor of the court. Second, he was afraid of his wife. Afraid of his wife. Afraid of his wife.
But when he hears these later accounts, the future Emperor Dezheng, current royal second-generation scion, and true steel-straight man Shao Jianxing, picks at his toes and says with utter disdain, "I call bull. Become emperor? Why not just coast through life? Afraid of my wife? I like men. What would I want a wife for?"
Original blurb:
There were only two things Shao Jianxing never expected in his life:
One was for the childhood friend he grew up with to become his sweetheart.
The other was that he would willingly be tempered by fire for her sake.
1. Slow burn. The key plot points come in the middle and later parts.
2. This novel is also known as Tempered by Fire, She Always Thinks I'm Cute, and Childhood Friends Turn into Sweethearts. Pairing: carefree young prince Shao Jianxing x Chu Yangzhou, a female general disguised as a man. They dote on each other and grow together. There are both sweet moments and angst.
Theme: The Great Way leaves a glimmer of hope
It felt a little rushed, the conflict wasn't very obvious, I kept waiting for the climax, and it ended?
It's not that Mother Jia doesn't love Sister Lin, but to her, the interests of Jia Baoyu, Jia Zheng, and the Jia family are all superior to Sister Lin. The hero leaves Jia's house, and next... I hope to see the wedding between the hero and Sister Lin as soon as possible!
So Sister Lin has shed tears 30 million times because Jia Baoyu can't look away?!
After reading it, I feel unhappy...
Chapter 47 is locked, cannot be bought, cannot be read
Finished spreading flowers! It was well written, but the ending was a little rushed.
I... I was a little sad but was disgusted by the sea ghost's heart:)
The first part is good to watch, the supporting characters are better portrayed than the protagonists, and the ones who are detailed and brilliant are Jia Zheng and Aunt Zhao. The plot jumps too much into the second step, many details are missing, and the ending is even more rushed. Many things are not explained clearly, leaving people unfinished. . . . Once the big frame is established, it's a complete story.
It's actually over. . .
Is this coming to an end? Sister Lin is going to become an immortal? No, Jia Baoyu hasn't realized it yet.
