As a member of the Villain Department, Shi Yan is responsible for playing the wicked male supporting character by the protagonist shou's side.
But he accidentally sends the protagonist shou's affection meter through the roof. The protagonist shou not only dumps his official love interest, but also chases Shi Yan, a villainous supporting character, all over the world...
Transmigrating into the protagonist shou's unrelated older brother, Shi Yan does his best to play the part of a wicked older brother. He never expects the protagonist shou to wrap his arms around his waist one day and whisper in his ear: Brother, you did all this for my own good, didn't you?
Shi Yan: No, I'm the villain, little brother!
Transmigrating into the regent who assists the protagonist shou, he painstakingly governs on the protagonist shou's behalf for over twenty years. At last, the protagonist shou takes the empire that should have been his. Just as Shi Yan prepares to accept his fate, a pair of shackles mysteriously appears on his wrists.
Protagonist shou: The empire is mine, and so are you.
Shi Yan: ...I beg Your Majesty to grant me death.
Shi Yan: He was supposed to be the protagonist shou, so how did he become the gong?
