Christie once thought so too, until she had a dream.
In the dream, she desperately tried to protect a burning flame, only to watch it be cruelly extinguished.
When she woke, she was so upset that she couldn't even eat her usual favorite, hot chocolate waterfall ice cream.
So when it came time to be sorted, she firmly chose Gryffindor. It represented fire, and had to be connected to her dream.
Later, she really did encounter that blazing flame. To keep it burning, she did everything she could to change the prophecy.
