Little Cuilian was adopted, then married off to a blacksmith who couldn't find himself a wife.
Little Cuilian knew the blacksmith looked down on her.
She knew because one day she saw her usually hot-tempered blacksmith being all kindness and courtesy toward the widow Wang from the neighboring village.
Little Cuilian glanced down at her own slight figure and smacked her lips.
*
One day, the blacksmith heard people saying his usually sweet and obedient little wife was fooling around with another man. He didn't believe them.
Until he saw it with his own eyes. Then he was furious.
"Zhang Cuilian, don't forget you're my woman!" The blacksmith pinned little Cuilian down in the fields.
"So what? You like women like the widow Wang from the neighboring village anyway," Little Cuilian said calmly.
"???"
Tie Li's expression darkened. He pulled her into his arms and finally snapped. "Nonsense! You're exactly my type."
*
He had been despondent and broken, living like a pile of mud.
Until a little Cuilian appeared in that pile of mud.
From then on, she was his whole life.

On the day Pei Qingfu married Mu Zheng, the young general stationed in the north, she received a wedding gift from her legitimate elder brother, Pei Shuyue.
She accepted it with a smile and thanked him, finally letting out a sigh of relief.
She considered that secret chapter of her past, when she had deliberately gotten close to her elder brother to survive, neatly closed.
But she didn't see the man turn away, shadows of pain and turmoil hidden in his eyes.
Later, the general's household became embroiled in a struggle for the throne and fell in a single day.
To save her husband, Pei Qingfu went to ask Pei Shuyue for help.
Her nominal elder brother was now the chief minister, a trusted aide to the emperor, and the most powerful man in court.
In the high-walled residence, the man stood with his hands behind his back after hearing why Pei Qingfu had come. For a long while, he said nothing. He only reached up, plucked a hibiscus, and rolled its stem between his fingers, his feelings impossible to read.
At last, he walked over and tucked the flower into her hair.
He leaned close, his breath brushing her ear. His voice was as faint as mist. "The tricks you used to sweet-talk me back then, little sister... have you really forgotten them all?"
He still looked as distant and composed as the bright moon, but Pei Qingfu felt a chill run down her spine. She looked up suddenly and met his deep gaze, only then realizing...
The scene she thought had ended long ago was something he had never let go.

Everyone in the capital knew that Chief Minister Pei Shuyue was dignified and self-disciplined, and placed great importance on propriety.
No one knew he kept a hibiscus hidden in his heart, where no one could see it.
When he was seventeen, the quiet hibiscus in the corner of the rear courtyard turned a tempting crimson, ripe for the plucking. So he allowed his timid half-sister to approach him deliberately.
He waited for her coming-of-age ceremony, planning and dreaming of how to keep her by his side forever.
Instead, he watched her marry another man, beaming with happiness.
As he defied his elders and knelt in the ancestral hall as punishment, as he burned one scar after another into his skin, she was plotting to leave. With a gentle step away, she cast him aside with ease and left him alone to drown in his feelings.
Later, the hibiscus fell into his hands again.
He stroked the nape of her trembling neck, his laughter steeped in a possessive tenderness. He coaxed her into divorcing her husband, then kissed the blood from her lips as tears blurred her vision.
"You chose him over me back then. Now... it's time to come back to my side."

In Mu Zheng's eyes, his friend Pei Shuyue might have been quiet and withdrawn, but he had always been forthright and honorable. But at some point, his friend became dark and unfathomable.
Later, after a falling-out ended their friendship, Mu Zheng suppressed his resentment and continued to show Pei Shuyue a measure of respect, since he was technically his wife's elder brother.
Only after divorcing his wife, when regret had consumed him and he had nowhere else to turn, did he barge into Pei Shuyue's courtyard. He was about to ask for help when he caught sight of the wife he missed day and night, curled in the arms of her moonlike elder brother, letting him do as he pleased.
Enraged, Mu Zheng swung at Pei Shuyue's face, only to see his wife's look of panic, her eyes full of concern for her elder brother and reproach for him.
The moon seemed to hang high in the heavens.
In truth, it was within reach, willing to fall into the mortal world.
#Forbidden tension at first, then possessive pursuit.
Theme: Keep your chin up through life's low points.
I watched from about twelve o'clock to three in the morning; I watched it with the hope that the heroine and the hero could have some judgment of their own; but at the end, all the hero's opinions about the other widow were overturned by others, and even the abortion pill was not distinguished. It was simply unreasonable. Yu, no matter how much you love, you will still make your woman feel wronged, cao; the heroine is the same, she will believe whatever others say every time, why is she so weak? Although the novel can express something clearly in one sentence into a hundred sentences, but at least there should be some changes, right? After so many chapters, the characters of the male protagonist and the female protagonist have not changed. The novel has come to this end. What about their lives after that? Will the male protagonist judge for themselves if they encounter any misunderstandings? Can the female protagonist love herself more? Anyway, it seems to me that I have no confidence in their future life. At least his character should improve a bit after being tortured. Frustrated/The author is great, I'm not a good person, I read it in the early hours of the morning and I really couldn't sleep, I felt aggrieved, come on
This woman is haunted
I feel like the extra is a bit sloppy
Finish spreading flowers_(:_‖∠)_harm. It feels like Chu Li is still being abused less.
The male protagonist is a self-centered man. Doesn't he know that the female protagonist is frustrated? He is much nicer to other women than to the heroine. The heroine is also a love brain. This article is really not suitable for the female protagonist to read. It was written by the hero's mother and the heroine's stepmother.
Although I know it is necessary for the plot, I hope that the next book will feel more sorry for the female protagonist. If the male protagonist does not feel sorry for his biological mother, he must feel sorry for his mother. Normally, you would be angry if you were given a bad lead so many times on a date. Not to mention that the male protagonist was always in an important plot, but he put other women and children before the female protagonist without explaining the reason. To be honest, he was really scumbag, even if it was just to repay a favor. Being a human being is also a failure. If it was originally intended to be a portrait of the muddy male protagonist, it would indeed be quite successful.
And now it's just a tsundere. If it weren't for this double-C script, the male lead would have been replaced :)
Are all the people reading this article male protagonists? As far as the heroine is concerned, it can be said that the Madonna's batch of soft buns have cute personalities? Isn't it more normal now? Don't you get angry every time you get pigeoned?
Every time I was delayed because of something that night, everything was more important than the heroine.
I feel that my male protagonist has never found the reason why the female protagonist is sad. He cannot ignore his wife just because of his kindness. After all, being jealous occasionally is sweet, but being jealous all the time is very harmful to the body.
