Warning! Mutant Big Shot on the Loose

[Unless something unexpected comes up, updates are generally six days a week, with one day off] The world's largest nuclear power plant exploded, opening a space-time gate. People were forced to invade a parallel world from a thousand years ago and build a new city beside the ancients. Jiang Zhao, a miserable orphan, went with the crowd into the other world. She put down roots and opened a shop in an ungoverned zone, beating anyone who acted up until they got on their knees and submitted. She became the town's resident tough girl. She didn't get to enjoy it for long. The exploration team she led was surrounded by monsters, and the boyfriend who had gone missing in the nuclear blast suddenly appeared. With a buzz cut and dressed in black, he beat the monsters into tears with his powers, then held up an old phone with chipped paint: "Are you [the wife]?" Jiang Zhao realized that this dog of a man had been alive but never answered her calls. Not only did he have a cheat ability, he'd also forgotten every single memory about her?! 1. A touch of mystery + a hint of horror + pseudo-science fiction + post-apocalyptic wasteland. 2. 1v1, two strong leads, but the protagonists aren't omnipotent (note this well). No melodrama... unless amnesia counts as melodrama. 3. This story is "pseudo-science" with no supernatural elements. Don't nitpick the principles, or either the readers or the author will go crazy. Also: This isn't just an endless cycle of leveling up and fighting. I'll do my best to make the plot unpredictable. Theme: Survive with a positive attitude.
