Me, Utterly Ordinary

This is a silly, satisfying, and indulgent story, with a realistic-style blurb.

01

I was born ordinary, and I had plenty of flaws.

Lazy, gluttonous, greedy.

After being exposed to too much negativity, I found it hard to feel that love existed.

02

Then I died and was bound to a System.

I had to collect pure love in different worlds, or I would disappear forever.

03

In the first world, I worked hard to become an idol with a kind heart.

In the second world, I used my knowledge to revive a nation.

In the third world, I became a master chef.

I grew powerful, but I still hadn't experienced enough love.

04

The System gave up on me.

So I was reborn on the day I turned nineteen. My mother died of breast cancer, and my father married a new woman.

Sitting on the sofa, I studied the wrinkles on my father's face and the sunspots from spending so long working at construction sites. I was in a foul mood.

05

Like a raw egg smashed with a hammer, my mind suddenly opened.

I realized that maybe all tender love seems vulgar when you touch it.

If you can't stand someone as pathetic as me, I understand.

06

Before that, I want to tell you my name: Han Yuanzhu. I'm a woman.

Fortunately, thanks to my efforts, I weighed ninety pounds by the time I was twenty.

Then, at twenty-four, my company had made ten billion, and I was awarded the National Lifetime Achievement Award in Science and Technology.

My father smiled more often, and I had a little brother.

And then...

07

About all of this,

I have nothing extraordinary to say. I'm sorry.
