Following the Trail [Infinite Highway]

Imagine that one day, everyone tells you:

The person dearest to you never existed.

Would you still believe your own memories?

Qiao Xinyue watched with her own eyes as her older sister disappeared. Every trace that she had ever existed was wiped away without a trace!

Everyone looked at her with pity and disdain.

“Xinyue, you don't have a sister.”

She desperately searched for evidence, only to be met with a restraint bed and powerful sedatives.

A thousand days and nights of electroshock and medication couldn't erase her memories. They only wore her down until she became a complete “madwoman.”

Three years later, the Infinite Highway appeared once more.

In a monster's lair, Qiao Xinyue found the hair clip she'd given her sister. The words she'd carved were still on the back.

Was this the ultimate hallucination of her worsening illness?

Or had a crack finally appeared in the truth?

That day, the lofty Infinite Highway awakened a true Demon King with its own hands.

They had been classmates for twelve years and lovers for seven.

Tang Haoze had only gone abroad for an exchange program, yet the girl he cherished most had become a “madwoman” at the mercy of others in a psychiatric hospital!

She was so thin she was barely recognizable, yet she still insisted she had a sister!

Reason told him that Qiao Xinyue was ill!

But seeing her so obsessed that she was destroying herself broke his heart!

He didn't remember her “sister,” but he knew how much he loved her!

“If you've really gone mad,”

Tang Haoze said, his eyes red as he gently cupped her hand, covered in needle marks, “then I'll go mad with you.”
