I Became Famous After Raising Ghosts and Demons

As the eldest legitimate son of a family of Celestial Masters, Cen Nan was born with a fate the clan elders declared tainted by ill fortune, and no foundation for cultivating the Dao. His father was overjoyed, quickly elevating his mistress to wife and having her bear a gifted younger son to replace Cen Nan as the heir to the Cen family. Unable to bear the humiliation, his mother left with Cen Nan and nothing else, and they began living an ordinary life. Cen Nan grew up safe and sound. After graduating, he applied for a job as a television host, but because of his outstanding looks, he was talked into signing an entertainment contract. He never became an overnight sensation, and instead his career kept fading. Then, during the Ghost Festival in the seventh month of his birth year, Cen Nan unexpectedly opened his Heavenly Eye. A little ghost told him that he was blessed with deep good fortune and overflowing luck. His luck was so enticing that it drew a great demon ghost that had slumbered in the depths of the underworld for ten thousand years, which had been feeding on his fortune day and night. They say fame nourishes people. Cen Nan used his fame to nourish a demon ghost, and also drew the attention of his cheap younger brother, Cen Bei, the new head of the Cen family and a top-tier star in the Celestial Master world. Seeing ghostly energy clinging to Cen Nan, Cen Bei concluded that he was practicing wicked arts and wreaking havoc on the world. He gathered the Cen family to punish him, and raised his peachwood sword, ready to uphold justice by killing his own brother. At the critical moment, the earth shook and the heavens trembled. The great demon ghost burst out of the underworld, swept the Cen family members away with his tail, clung to Cen Nan, and opened his mouth to say: "Wife!"
