A Love Letter from a Puppy

At the age of eight, Qi Xinggui was given a death sentence.

He was destined not to live past eighteen.

At seventeen, Qi Xinggui realized he had fallen in love with Xia Tao, his childhood friend.

He carefully noted every little habit of hers and learned to read each of her moods, secretly keeping his love tucked away in his heart, never letting it show.

He helped Xia Tao come up with ways to pursue the boy she liked. When her confession was rejected, he wiped away her tears and held her close to comfort her.

He thought, this is enough. As long as I can stay by her side.
