After Shi Yue was forced to come out, his parents gave him a double beating and sent him to stay with relatives in Chuan City. On his very first day, he got caught in the crossfire when a bunch of punks started fighting.
He Qinglin found Shi Yue in a dim alley. Shi Yue was covered in blood, and his clothes had been torn to shreds in the chaos.
He Qinglin took him to see a doctor, bandaged his wounds, bought him a new set of clothes, and even brought him breakfast once school started.
Deeply moved, Shi Yue said, "He Qinglin, you're so nice."
He Qinglin held out his hand. "Save it. Pay up."
