[One Piece] Will Saori Yuzumi Be Stewed Today?

"If a person's wound doesn't scab over for even a single day, a black bird will fly out of it. If they die by suicide, a white bird will fly out and go to the person they love."

"If their beloved doesn't realize within thirty days that the white bird is the dead person, the bird will disappear, and the dead person's soul will never be set free."

"If their beloved recognizes them in time, the white bird will turn back into the person who died. In other words, the dead will come back to life."

At fifteen, Saori Hagisumi took her own life for the sake of her one and only best friend.

But for some reason,

Saori's white bird didn't appear until a full twenty-five years later.

Thrilled, Saori flew outside the window, tears in her eyes as she gazed with deep satisfaction at her old best friend, who had grown into such a graceful, beautiful woman...

Saori burst through the window, tears streaming, ready to give her best friend a huge hug.

Then her best friend grabbed her by both feet and held her upside down right in front of her...

Saori: … [Pigeon cries]

Sakazuki: [Looking at the teary-eyed white bird in front of him] … (A mysterious silence)

At this moment of mysterious silence,

'Creaaak-'

The adjutant came in with some documents, looking puzzled as his superior and a white bird stared deeply into each other's eyes...

'...Um... Vice Admiral, would you like some pigeon soup...?'

[Cautiously]

Saori: …

Saori: !!!!
