Phantom Thief Kid Vs. the Nine-Lived Cat Burglar

1. The worldbuilding is wild.

2. This is fanfiction in the literal sense: only the characters are shared.

3. The plot doesn't really move forward, to put it politely. In plain words, there is no plot. Most of it is just my own stuff!

4. It might be a short story, might be! It's only a possibility!

5. Includes references to Prince of Tennis.

The main story is complete. Extras are in the works.

Blurb:

China's master thief Jiuming Mao heard that Japan had a magician thief, so she wrote a letter to the Chinese police, telling them she had decided to go to Japan to have fun with Kaito Kid. Then she happily boarded a plane to Japan and left China.

The Chinese police read the letter and had only one thought: That menace has finally gone off to cause trouble somewhere else.

Then, pretending to be heartbroken, they contacted the Japanese police and told them that Jiuming Mao was going to look for Kaito Kid. They warned them to be careful, in case the two joined forces. After all, they were in the same line of work.

The Chinese police only told them that Jiuming Mao was a woman, and... that was all.

Chinese police: We can't help it. That's all we know. The rest is up to you.

Note: This is a sweet romance, one-on-one.

Includes references to Prince of Tennis.

Theme: Maybe they were always meant to be together.
