I was clearly enthralled by music, but little by little, those feelings became focused on a person.
Every time, I told myself I was getting to know her and growing close to her only to learn more about music. But it was absolutely her fault too, for giving me a look I would never forget.
At that moment, I wanted to cut open her heart.
I still do.

A little rambling:
The inspiration for this story came from the field I'm studying now. When I first watched Phantom of the Opera, I had the urge to write a story about Chinese and Western music. Then I looked into modern diplomatic work and happened to find information about the first diplomatic mission of the modern era. The dates lined up, so I started writing.
This is my first attempt at writing an entirely first-person story. I'll do my best to divide events between two people's perspectives. Of course, my writing still needs work.
Now that I've started, I want to give the story a satisfying ending.

Girls who have learned Yang Qin say they are flattered (//?//)
Hahahahaha, you are just average, this one is too cute, right?
It's such a shallow pit…but it's written in big letters and it's awesome!
??? Confidant! Madam, I can't sleep at night looking for inspiration just like you! Emmmm because I also learn pipa
I would like to ask what musical instrument the heroine plays? I never figured it out... The description sounds like Pipa, but the heroine keeps talking about Qin
Interesting style of painting, it's not easy during the literary shortage.
Nice! Looking forward to the follow-up updates, Suiyuan, and other updates. Thank you very much.
