A Record of Two Former Immortals Flirting with Each Other

Mo Wu was a renowned God of War, and aside from spending years locked in a bitter rivalry with that smiling, treacherous Chancellor, he had little to worry about.

So when he was utterly destroyed in the war between immortals and demons, and Heaven and Earth mourned, all he could think was: Tch, that old fox must be over the moon now.

But he wasn't quite dead. He fell into the cycle of reincarnation and became a mortal. In one life, he met an immortal who was gentle and refined, and said he had lost his powers and could no longer return to Heaven.

Mo Wu's eyes lit up. Go for it! An immortal this beautiful, and I wouldn't chase him? I'd be no man at all!

The immortal smiled warmly. Hmm?

A year later, Mo Wu regained his immortal status and stared at a certain familiar face, green with envy. "..."

Well, damn.

Later, Mo Wu discovered that the Chancellor, as elegant and tranquil as an ink painting, was actually a madman.

"I wiped out thirty-two divisions of the Demon Realm and searched through mountains of corpses and seas of blood, but couldn't find your spirit."

"Now that I have found you, I will never let you go again."
