A fine carriage rolled slowly down the filthy, chaotic streets, finally stopping before a beggar who was at death's door. The curtain lifted, revealing a slender hand as white as jade. The beggar looked up, dazed. The person inside the carriage said, "Take him back." The steward asked, "Young master, are you going to save him?" "Save him?" Xi Huai chuckled softly. His phoenix eyes fixed on the face he would never forget, and he ground out, "Train him well. He's my slave." Reading guide: 1.
