[Western Crossover] A Guide to Raising a Robin

Renamed!

Important!

Just treat this as a parallel universe. Don't scrutinize it too closely.

Red Hood Jason was never blown up by the Joker. Before the explosion, the League of Assassins took him away and dunked him in the pit. He originally had red hair, but after the dip, his hair turned black and his eyes green.

Arkham Knight Jason still has red hair and green eyes.

The Arkham Knight is 16, and the Red Hood is 20. Everyone else is their usual age, give or take.

The Red Hood is the Robin who never died and struck out on his own. The Arkham Knight is the cat who died once.

The goal is for everyone to love and help raise the Arkham Knight.

The Red Hood is still called Jason. Later, after the two Jasons meet, the Arkham Knight will be called Jay to make them easier to tell apart.

Red Hood has a little secret, one he only got after returning to the Batfamily following his dip in the Lazarus Pit.

Red Hood thinks he's the most miserable Robin, especially after surviving the Joker's clutches. That is, until he has a dream.

The Jason Todd in his dream had it worse than he did.

At the very end, Jason Todd, as the Arkham Knight, finally came to terms with everything. He knew that after a year of being tortured by the Joker, he could never go back to the way things were.

Though he still wanted revenge on Batman, he also knew full well that Gotham couldn't be without him.

In the end, he jumped off a skyscraper with Scarecrow in his arms, then burst into bloom in Gotham's night sky with a boom.

The Arkham Knight thought it was all over and that he was finally free, until he opened his eyes.

Today's dream was different from the Red Hood's usual ones. On a level beneath Arkham Asylum, he saw a familiar figure.

Red Hood had another little secret: he was going to take good care of this Jason, who had suffered even more than he had.
