A Gentle Slaughter

Wen Xin went from an ordinary sparrow to the little granddaughter of a wealthy family overnight.

Her grandfather wanted her to marry a man more than ten years older than her.

She refused and secretly ran away,

but her fiance caught her and forced her to marry him.

After their wedding, the man doted on her in every way, making everyone in their social circle envious.

He gave her everything she wanted, except for contact with other men and ultra-short skirts.

As Wen Xin blossomed into a graceful young woman, Fu Sicheng was convinced she couldn't live without him.

Just as he was about to close the net and claim his prey...

Wen Xin took off her ring and asked for a divorce.

The man suddenly broke into a smile, then changed his expression in an instant and clamped a hand around her. His voice was cold and unfamiliar.

"Darling, I went to all this trouble so I wouldn't have to let another man have you."

"Divorce? Are you trying to kill me?"

Only later did Wen Xin discover that the man she married, who seemed cold and abstinent, was actually obsessive, calculating, and fiercely possessive.

But this time, she wouldn't let him catch her again :)
