In the Apocalypse, I Just Want to Eat, Drink, and Wait to Die

Two months after the apocalypse began, Jiang Qing stepped outside her home for the first time to look for food. By sheer luck, she found a supermarket with no zombies inside.

As she swept the remaining food off the shelves, her foot landed with a slap in a pool of blood.

The boy on the floor was in a wretched state, but his eyes were shockingly fierce. Four or five zombie corpses lay strewn beside him.

It was Qin Feng, her high school crush. The boy she remembered as so full of life was now sprawled in a dark pool of blood, unable to get back up.

She coldly looked away, took what she needed, and prepared to leave.

Then a weak, hoarse voice suddenly called her name.

“...”

She stopped in her tracks and turned around. Grabbing his outstretched hand with her right hand, she dragged him back home.

Jiang Qing never imagined that her wish to sit around and wait for death would come true before she even fought her first zombie.

Qin Feng was among the first to awaken an ability after the apocalypse began, and he was a rare dual-ability user.

In a chaotic world without order, he was Jiang Qing's sharpest sword, striking wherever she pointed.

Jiang Qing thought the most she and Qin Feng could be was benefactor and beneficiary.

She had saved him, so he stayed by her side and protected her when she had no abilities.

But even after she awakened powerful abilities, she found that no matter how hard she tried, she still couldn't get rid of him...

Jiang Qing had a dream of spending the apocalypse doing nothing and waiting to die.

But then she awakened abilities.

“Boss!”

“Save me!”

“Sister Qing, aaaaaah!”
