I Became the Ruler of Four Kingdoms Through My Secret Identity

Transmigrating into the useless young master of the Minister of Rites' household, Bai Lan thinks he'll spend his life in comfort as a wealthy idler. Then he discovers that the dynasty is divided among four powers, constantly at war, and on the verge of collapse. His state, Xun, is weak beyond belief. The emperor is incompetent and the officials are useless, drawing their salaries while doing nothing. Even without foreign enemies, the common people are constantly rising up in revolt. As the son of an official, Bai Lan decides to plan for the future and enter the court despite the old guard's opposition, determined to turn the tide. Before he can make a move, the secret identity System lying dormant inside him suddenly awakens. Bai Lan immediately retreats to his home. His real self should stay safely indoors. Let his secret identities shoulder any risks! The hopeless state of Xun finds a glimmer of hope. A mighty, commanding young general in red fears neither death nor danger, riding a white horse into battle and winning victory after victory. A refined, scholarly man abandons the brush for business, sells grain at low prices, restores the people's livelihoods, and volunteers to transport provisions to the border. A proud, aloof scholar from a humble family comes first in the imperial examinations. Fiercely independent, he refuses to join corrupt officials. These people risk their lives without hesitation. Even after repeated assassination attempts and false accusations, they never waver, paving the way for Xun's future with their blood. There are also other secret identities operating in the three other states. Bai Lan stays behind the scenes, directing his secret identities to work together and rise through the ranks until he controls the lifelines of several states. When he finally comes to his senses, he realizes that he's become so powerful no one can stand against him! Why keep a puppet emperor around? He's in the way! Bai Lan will ascend the throne and become emperor! The useless young master of the Minister of Rites' household makes a forceful entrance into the nobility's line of sight. He is elegant, poised, and imposing. The rebellious young general willingly bows before him, while the refined former top scholar stands silently and tenderly behind him. The young master of the Minister of Rites' household tramples on etiquette and rules, then takes the throne with the powerful ministers rallying around him.
