Zuo Jinyi knew her sworn enemy, Tan Zui, had one fatal flaw: When he got drunk, he blurted out every truth, even honestly telling her how many times they’d fought as children. So, on Tan Zui’s birthday, Zuo Jinyi got him thoroughly drunk and called everyone in the private room over to listen. “Today, you’re all going to hear Mr. Tan spill the beans.” With everyone watching, Zuo Jinyi smugly asked Tan Zui, “Come on, tell us your most unspeakable secret.” Tan Zui propped his forehead up lazily, drowsy. “The most unspeakable?” Zuo Jinyi: “Right. Like something you did to wrong Zuo Jinyi.” Tan Zui looked guilty, just as she’d expected. Zuo Jinyi grew even more pleased with herself. Then Tan Zui paused and said, “A week ago, when Zuo Jinyi fell asleep at my place, I wanted to kiss her forehead.” “...” Tan Zui shook his head and continued. “Two weeks ago, when Zuo Jinyi sat beside me, I wanted to hold her hand.” “Three weeks ago...” The private room fell silent. Tan Zui said whatever came to mind. Ten minutes later, he sighed softly and summed up: “...But I didn’t do any of it.” Zuo Jinyi: “...” Tan Zui glanced lazily at her, then looked up with a smile. “I hope Zuo Jinyi will make the first move.” -A heroine who’s lazy by most people’s standards and only gets enthusiastic about things she likes × a hero who may be a jerk, but is handsome, really handsome, unbelievably handsome.
