A new dessert shop has opened on Baker Street. The proprietress, Yuna, looks like an underage girl. Yet this very girl keeps making Mycroft stumble. Though Mycroft’s characterization may be a little off, when he wants to get intimate with the girl, her azure eyes turn earnest: “I thought you’d prefer a Platonic relationship, sir.” Mycroft holds her close and uses the gentlest voice of his life: “Why would you think that?” The girl says, “Your hairline, and your age. You don’t exercise, sir, and lately you’ve developed a bit of a belly. It seems like you’re not up to it physically or emotionally, does it?” Mycroft presses close to her ear, perfectly serious and affectionate, and murmurs, “You can’t reach a conclusion just by looking.” The last few words carry a subtle upward lilt and a deep, magnetic tone. “My girl, it’s a boyfriend’s duty. I’ll prove to you whether your gentleman is up to the task.”
This story doesn’t focus much on the plot. It’s short. Mostly it’s sweet, sweet, and even sweeter. Please feel free to point out anything that seems off.
